The Foundation You Need

Ask any woman, and they will tell you the worst things they have to shop for: jeans, swimwear and bras. Most women dread the day the underwire nally gives out and they’re forced to head out and buy a new bra. Fear not, women of Regina and area. It doesn’t have to be like this anymore. Join the women who have been trusting the professionals at Thee Lingerie Shoppe for 40 years for all their lingerie and swimwear needs.

Owner Linda Bell is a second- generation entrepreneur, taking over the store from her mother in 2003. Over the years, she’s seen how lingerie and swimwear have changed to what we know today. “When the store started, everything was white and maybe beige,” says Linda. “Then black came along, and today, bras and lingerie come in so many colours and patterns. And, the size range has increased too.”

Thee Lingerie Shoppe carries quality, stylish bras in sizes 28A to 48O, so every body type can nd the foundation it needs. In-store, you’ll find every bra style, including nursing bras, sports bras and mastectomy bras. And, all are built to last.

After you buy a bra from Thee Lingerie Shoppe, take good care of it to make it last.

  1. Wash your bras after every three to four wears.
  2. Handwashing is always the best option, but you can machine wash on delicate in a mesh lingerie bag.
  3. Always hang to dry or dry at, and NEVER place them in the dryer.

The shop carries lingerie that is well-made with quality fabrics, closures and support. “Most people don’t know that there are different grades of fabric and underwire, which impact how they t and how long you can wear them,” says Linda.

Not only does Thee Lingerie Shoppe carry the best brands, it’s also their service that sets them apart from so many other stores. Every staff member is trained to find the bra that works. “A properly tting bra makes all the difference in the way you feel. A good bra is comfortable, attering and is your foundation,” says Linda. “We’re here to ensure that every customer that comes in our shop leaves with a bra that ts well and looks great. You might forget what we educate you about proper tting bras, but you won’t forget how we make you feel.”

Whatever your size or style needs are, Linda recommends women should have on average about four to ve bras. It’s always dependent on your lifestyle, but a basic lingerie drawer should have options for everyday wear, something for sports or exercising, and something for special occasions that’s feminine and attering.
