A New Store Everyday, with Discounts You Won't Believe
Second Chance Surplus brings incredible savings to Regina and beyond
If you love a good deal, get ready—Second Chance Surplus Co. is the treasure hunt you’ve been waiting for. This family-owned and operated business is Regina’s newest go-to spot for incredible discounts on surplus goods and retailer returns from stores you already trust. You don’t need a membership to shop here!
With nearly 12,000 square feet of bargains in Regina, plus a lumber yard in Craven and a second store in Ituna, Second Chance Surplus is quickly becoming a favourite for deal hunters. “With new loads arriving weekly, the store is different every day,” says Garrett Small, co-owner. “You never know what you’ll find, but you know it’ll be a great deal.”
More than just savings— supporting small towns
The Second Chance family doesn’t stop at Regina. In Ituna, the former restaurant at 404 Main Street has been transformed into Second Chance Boutique, a go-to spot for clothing and shoes at 40 to 50 per cent off retail prices. Family-run, the boutique creates a welcoming space where locals can find quality fashion at unbeatable prices.
“We see this as more than just a store—it’s an opportunity for small-town residents to shop local and keep their community thriving,” says Garrett. “It’s not always about money. It’s about supporting these great little towns.”
The boutique is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and like its sister store, inventory is always changing. Follow on Facebook for updates on new arrivals, deals, and even information about Ituna itself—like the brand-new skating rink showcasing everything this great town has to offer.
Second Chance Surplus Lumber: a hidden gem in the country
For those tackling home projects, Second Chance Surplus Lumber is a must-visit. Located on the family farm east of Craven, this laid-back lumber yard is truly unique—set in a pasture with everything under the sun at 30 to 40 per cent off retail.
Opened in 2023, the yard carries brick, tile, windows, doors, siding, lumber, and more. “It all happened by accident, but now people come from across the province,” says Garrett. “The prices are right, and it’s a great way to support local.”
The yard opens every year from spring to late fall, weather permitting, with a May long weekend kickoff. Visitors can find it six miles east on the 729 grid or 23 km north of Highway 6 on Russell Hill Road. Follow Second Chance Surplus on Facebook for updates on stock and seasonal hours.
Brand-name finds at unbeatable prices
The inventory at Second Chance Surplus is constantly changing, but one thing stays the same—deep discounts. Shoppers can expect to save anywhere from 10 to 75 per cent off retail on everything from furniture and small appliances to non-perishable food, clothing, sporting goods, and home décor.
The best part? These aren’t off-brand, questionable-quality items. “These are the same products you’d buy at big-name retailers, just at way better prices,” says Garrett. Whether it’s a stylish new couch, a premium blender, or a set of high-end tools, you’re getting the brands you know for way less.
Returns, tested and labelled for peace of mind
Worried about buying returned items? At Second Chance Surplus, every return is checked, tested, and clearly labelled so you know exactly what you’re getting. “We’re upfront about everything,” says Garrett. “If an item is brand new, if it’s missing a part, if it’s been used—we make sure our customers know.” That level of honesty and transparency keeps shoppers coming back, knowing they’re getting great products at honest prices.
A shopping experience that keeps you coming back
Because the inventory changes almost daily, every visit to Second Chance Surplus is a new adventure. Regular customers know that if they see something they love, they should grab it—because it might not be there tomorrow! “You never know what’s going to hit the floor,” says Garrett. “One day, we’ve got a truckload of patio furniture. Next, it’s brand-name clothing. It’s always exciting.” And with friendly, helpful staff ready to assist, the experience is as enjoyable as the deals.
Follow along for the latest finds
With so much turnover, the best way to stay in the loop is to follow Second Chance Surplus on Facebook and Instagram. “We post new arrivals, special deals, and fun finds all the time,” says Garrett. “It’s the best way to see what’s in store before you come down.”
