Built with heart and a whole lot of sawdust

Grace & Maeve Cabinetry creates custom kitchens, handcrafted furniture and thoughtful spaces for real life.

Regina’s Grace & Maeve Cabinetry started as a way for owner Justin Inkson to combine his love of woodworking with family life. Now he creates custom cabinetry, millwork and furniture built with care and attention. “We started Grace & Maeve with pretty humble origins,” Justin says. “I have a passion for creating, and we were parents to two beautiful young girls. I wanted the flexibility to be a part of their lives.” That love for his family doesn’t just shape how he works. It inspired the name of the business, too. “The name Grace & Maeve comes from our two daughters’ middle names,” he says. “It was my wife Shyanne’s idea.”

What began as a desire to balance work and parenthood has grown into a go-to shop in Regina for custom cabinetry, furniture and millwork built with creativity and a whole lot of skill.

From tree forts to dream kitchens

Justin’s connection to woodworking goes way back. “Working with wood has been a part of my life forever,” he says. “The array of tree forts and other projects at my dad’s farm speaks to that.”

After years in the trades as a millwright, Justin took the leap to combine his mechanical know-how with his love for design by enrolling in a furniture studio program in Kelowna. That hands-on experience and a deep respect for quality now drives every project Grace & Maeve takes on.

What they build

From kitchens and bathrooms to built-ins and one-of-a-kind furniture, Grace & Maeve offers full-service custom cabinetry and millwork. Clients can bring their own ideas or work with local designers to bring a vision to life. “If a client knows exactly what they want, we assist in designing and rendering their project,” Justin says. “If there are multiple elements, we recommend some fantastic designers who specialize in that scope.”

The goal is a finished space that feels just right. “When you walk into a space that we’ve produced, we want it to feel different,” he says. “We want subtle details to reflect our quality.”

They also love creating custom furniture—like white oak bunk beds, walnut bed frames and makeup vanities, or solid wood dining tables that anchor a family’s daily life.

Advice for dreamers and doers

Thinking about a renovation or custom build? Justin’s advice is simple: be honest about what matters to you. “Take time to reflect on what is truly important to you and do not compromise from that,” he says. “If you’re building or renovating your forever home, don’t sacrifice quality for quantity.”

There’s no substitute for quality craftsmanship and Grace & Maeve delivers exactly that, with a down-to-earth approach that puts homeowners first.
