Custom cabinetry that fits real life
Grace & Maeve Cabinetry helps Regina homeowners create kitchens, built-ins and furniture with thoughtful details that make every day easier
A beautiful kitchen is easy to admire. A well-designed custom kitchen is easy to live in. For Justin Inkson, owner of Grace & Maeve Cabinetry in Regina, that difference matters. His team creates custom kitchens, cabinetry, millwork and furniture designed around the way people actually use their homes.
Made for everyday living
One of the biggest benefits of custom cabinetry is flexibility. Instead of trying to make a standard cabinet fit a specific space, Grace & Maeve designs each piece around the home, the client and the way the space needs to function.
“With custom, we can tailor-make any area to suit the client’s needs or applications,” Justin says.
That can make a big difference in busy family homes, where every drawer, shelf and cabinet has a job to do. As the design comes together, clients can picture where everything will go, from everyday dishes to small appliances, spices, trays and those odds and ends that usually end up in a cluttered drawer.
“As the design comes together, clients can envision where things will be placed,” Justin says. “From there, we can look to simplify by adding things like rollout drawers, tray dividers or other unique built-ins.”
Storage that solves real problems
Custom cabinetry is about more than creating a beautiful first impression. It helps solve the small frustrations people deal with every day. Spice storage, large utensil storage and organized drawers are often the features clients are happiest to have once the project is complete.
“Everyone needs a junk drawer,” Justin says. “But it is great if you can organize some of those areas that are often cluttered.”
From ideas to finished plans
When a homeowner reaches out to Grace & Maeve, the first step is listening. Justin wants to understand the client, the project, the timeline and the overall vision before moving into design.
“We want to get to know you and your project,” Justin says. “We are here to listen first to determine where you are at as far as timelines, concepts and anything else that will affect the project.”
Homeowners do not need to have every detail figured out. A rough vision and a few inspiration photos are enough to get started. For larger projects, Justin says bringing in an interior designer can also be a real asset.
Grace & Maeve then helps turn ideas into practical plans with colour and stain samples, elevations and 3D renderings. “Our pre-construction and consultations turn concepts into physical samples to view,” Justin says. “Colour and stain samples, as well as plans, elevations and 3D renderings, help us reach a final design.” That planning stage also helps clients balance style, function and budget.
Warm, timeless and personal
In current kitchen and cabinetry trends, Justin is seeing a move toward warmth, texture and natural character. “White oak is still very popular, but we are finding a shift back into warmer and richer browns,” Justin says. “White cabinets will always be timeless. For solid colours, we are also seeing some softer whites and greys.”
Whether the project is a kitchen, built-in or one-of-a-kind furniture piece, Grace & Maeve Cabinetry helps Regina homeowners create spaces that feel personal, practical and built to last.
