Garden Girl’s seeds, planters and greenhouse make it easy to dig in
Spring is just around the corner, and Garden Girl in Regina is ready to help you make the most of it—whether you’ve got a backyard, a balcony or just a patch of patio. With a greenhouse full of plants and a curated seed selection that’s second to none, local gardener and owner Ariel Cote makes it easy for anyone to start growing.
Big harvests, small spaces
For city gardeners and space-conscious growers, Garden Girl carries GreenStalk vertical planters, a gamechanger for balconies, small yards and patios. Available in multiple sizes and colours, these stackable, self-watering planters make it easy to grow everything from strawberries and spinach to herbs and flowers with minimal fuss. “They make growing vegetables, herbs and flowers easy,” says Ariel. “They’re perfect for any space, and they’re so simple to use.”
Four brands, endless possibilities
Looking to grow from seed? You’re in the right place. Garden Girl offers one of the largest selections of seeds in Saskatchewan, featuring trusted favourites and unique varieties from West Coast Seeds, Renee’s Garden, OSC Seeds and MIGardener. Whether you’re after heirloom tomatoes, quick-growing greens or pollinator-friendly flowers, you’ll find something to suit your garden goals.
Can’t make it in? Garden Girl also ships seeds and bulbs Canada-wide through gardengirl.ca, so growers across the country can enjoy the same top-quality products.
“I believe people need to know how to grow their own food, and everyone can grow something beautiful,” says Ariel.
The greenhouse is the place to be
Located at 1070 McDonald Street, Garden Girl is one of the few greenhouses within city limits—and it’s set to open for the season in late April or early May. The space will soon be packed with hardy perennials, bedding plants, trees and shrubs, many grown in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and well-suited to Prairie conditions.
Garden Girl is more than just a shop. It’s a growing community. Ariel’s passion started with a backyard food garden and has blossomed into a business that welcomes gardeners of all experience levels. “I believe people need to know how to grow their own food, and everyone can grow something beautiful,” says Ariel.
